A new structural steel beam framed and stuccoed to match the existing structure — seamlessly.
The challenge
A newly installed structural steel beam at the mall’s parking structure stood out starkly against the existing finished beams. It needed to disappear into the architecture.
Our approach
We built precise metal framing around the new beam to replicate the shape of the surrounding beams, then applied stucco matched to the existing finish.
The result
A cohesive, polished structure — the new beam blends flawlessly with its neighbors, and the addition is undetectable to anyone who didn’t watch it happen.
